Angela Merkel has been criticised after two of her MPs were forced to resign over personally profiting from deals on the procurement of PPE. Nikolas Loebel has resigned as a member of Merkel's parliamentary group with immediate effect following allegations he received 250,000 euros in payments as part of a state mask purchase and Georg Nuesslein on Friday resigned from his post as one of the deputy leaders of Merkel's parliamentary group after being accused of taking more than 600,000 euros via a consultancy firm for mediating a mask order by the state. Prosecutors in Munich have said they were investigating initial allegations of bribery.

Looks like corruption is rife in EU politics. Probably best that we're out of that eh?

Hey! At least they resigned. Not a single corrupt Tory has done so.

Once again the EU miles behind us. Tory friends and family have been in on this for a year already. Britain leading the way again.
