Gerrard and Critchley a dream team for Liverpool when Klop leaves ??

Think it's absolutely nailed on as long as he doesn't get sacked before Klopp leaves. Nothing is simple in football though. I wasn't particularly impressed with his Villa side last season.
 
Klopp's going to have a big job on his hands if Sane leaves and possibly Salah at the end of next season. Man City have added Harland and Chelsea will be looking at new players under the new ownership. Probably longer term Ten Haag could breathe new life into Man U. So there could easily be regime change at Liverpool in the next couple of years and if Gerrard keeps improving Villa then he is in the box seat for the Liverpool job.

To be fair it wasn’t really his Villa side. The Rangers team that reached the Europa League final and won the Scottish Cup was his.
 
No guarantees that Gerrard and Critchley are the dream team.

Klopp Guardiola etc are currently different gravy to either of those two.
