Gerrard & Critchley on borrowed time?

I really hope it’s true, serves the rat right for leaving us in a lurch the way he did in the summer. 😈
 
Unofficial atm. He might get 2 more matches. He might not.
Coneboy’s and brewmakers also tend to leave in a cull.
New manager will want to appoint their own loyal subservient.
 
If not today, then probably tomorrow or soon. As they are a crisis club, it will probably be a total clear out and start again. I think Neil’s arse must surely be a bit twitchy as he was openly blamed by Gerrard for the recent problems along with the rest of the coaching team, and wouldn’t be acceptable to the fans as a manager or interim manager for more than a game or two.
 
Rather than out of the frying pan, this sounds more like out of the loving arms into the fire. But, his payoff will no doubt be substantial.
 
Granted the way he left was poor & at least he could have said something along the lines of, I've loved my time here but an opportunity has arised that I'd be foolish to turn down & I wish you all the success in the future.
To stabilise things post Scum & then get us promoted without waiting 30 years isn't a bad achievement in my books. I don't get all the angst, who wouldn't get their head turned if offered a massive pay rise, few I'd guess. Was it the wrong move to go with the scouse oaf (probably) but he'll be ok & depending what he want's, will continue to have a much better paid career than most of us, I'd imagine.

when did he say this?
 
Why is there never middle ground. He did well for us getting us into the Championship. In my 50 yes supporting the pool League 1 is the norm. Championship amazing. He achieved in his time for us. Granted the way he left lacked class but that aside he got is into the Championship and we survived the difficult first season. Let's just move on. I don't get this evil snake stuff etc

Disagree. We've had as many years in the top division than the Third Division.

Championship level is our natural home.

Agree with you re snake etc. Petty and makes us look bitter.
 
Fulham tomorrow night could seal the deal.

Gerrard should have stayed at Rangers longer and carved out a legacy, same can be said for Critchley.
 
No issue with NC other than his lack of class and respect.

Even if he is sacked he'll do well out of it financially ... so it won't have affected his initial motivation for leaving.

Gerrard will insulate him from a stain and he'll be back with a Championship club.
