Gerrard to Leeds?

Just a thought, I don't have many, but....
If Gerrard gets appointed by Leeds will he come for Critch again as an assistant alongside Gary Mac?
If he did, would Critch go?

Gerrard also linked to Leicester.....
Leicester City are considering former Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard as their next boss following relegation from the Premier League. (Mail)

How many times do we have to have a thread when Gerard is linked with somewhere if Critchley will go with him?

Boring now

The old me would have said ‘no way will that happen.’

But the old me also said ‘no way will Critch come back to us’.

What would the new me say?I’d say SG wouldn’t want him & he wouldn’t want to go because he’s made some silly decisions but a lot of money but it’s now down to re building his career with us, I’m kind of glad he’s back but I have a feeling it won’t go well, hopefully I’ll be wrong

I think it didn’t work out for Critchley and Gerrard as a team and there’s no way either will want to resurrect the partnership.
I also think that Sadler will have done a thorough job of sounding Critchley out about that scenario before offering the job to him and must have been fairly confident there was little or no chance of it happening again.

Yeah. It’s obviously all up in the air until the potential signings show our intent and we can judge after a few games.

We can’t afford for it not to go well.

Given that towards the end of his time at Villa he spoke out about ‘coaching methods’ not working out, which I took as a thinly veiled dig at NC, I expect it’s unlikely.
Stevie G will no doubt look for some fresh new stooge to blame for his failures, wherever he ends up.

I'd be surprised if SG got another Premier League job anytime soon. He wasn't popular with the fans or players at Villa. Didn't interact with the fans at all and soon lost the dressing room.

I do wonder what is written in his contract regards this ( quit again we get compo ,we sack you you get fuck all)?
