Get ready for Saturday

Considering how even an opening day home win has people telling us we were lucky and Reading completely outplayed us 2nd half - despite them only creating 1 decent chance and us having better ones in this period, I just thought I would remind people of how Saturday will go.

Swansea the possession kings of the Championship are here. So be prepared for lots of sidewards and backwards passing and never being able to tell their goalie “you’re shittt aaaah” as he’ll never kick it long. They’ll try and football bore us. So this can be a tough watch.

We really need to ditch these dark clouds over the Head Coach & looking for problems. He’s on a 4 year deal and to quote a well known phrase from 2020 “we’re stuck with him” - @Philbfctrois ©️

Appleton should be getting our full support in that ground because the team need it. He’s spoke well and is seemingly shipping out players we all thought aren’t up to it. Keogh is a blow as he’s a great voice and leader in the dressing room but that’s football and he’s got a 2 year deal closer to home.

The recruitment team is having a wobble, but that’s not Appleton’s fault. If anything it should make us want to get behind him more.

If 4-3-3 flops on its arse after 10-15 games then that’s fair to have a go, but moaning like fuck when we’re won 1 out of 2 and lost in a Cup we always lose in is just coming across as Verucca Salt esque. We ended the season terribly last year, we’re changing the system, we’re changing players and our home form is going to crucial as away from home doing the above is going to be difficult to establish any rhythm. We can play a big part in this.

Last season the fans got us over the line in loads of home games. Reading was a bit flat, it’s time to get back at it, boiling hot day, plenty of liquid refreshments to help you through it and backing the team as we always do.

I’m not going full Delia Smith but the positivity needs to come back. We can help create that.

Well said AK 👏👏👏

Great OP 👍 👏👏

That should be a pinned post and compulsory reading before every game. (I know it won't be - but it should.)

We are Blackpool. We get behind the team, and sing loud no matter what the opposition are doing. We can be the 12th and 13th man again. 🍊🍊🍊

You didn’t on Tuesday night, all I could hear on SSN whenever they went over to the game was the Barrow fans, not a peep out of your lot but then again most of your fans would have left by half-time

One for the possession purists, when we have the ball we will need to be far more incisive and clinical.

Define "would" and no I don't mean what your thick head is made of.
Most of your fans "would" have left by half time? They either did or they didn't.
Not sure if you have x-ray eyes which could see through old fatty Mellor and you saw that fans actually left, or that you have excellent long vision and that you see the crowd from the Huddersfield away end / your settee*

Utter, utter bollocks. Heard on SSN...enough said. The microphone would be nearer the away fans because part of the ground was closed.

Good post, fans need to let any disappointments go once in the stadium and give our full backing.

You really are a clueless clown aren't you.

You seem absolutely obsessed trying to paint out atmosphere as poor and failed miserably last time with it only going on to show tons of praise we received, even from pne commentators.

Not content with being humiliated there he's now at it again. 🤡

Yet your own fans called your atmosphere 'it's usual morgue like self', that's with a better summer, more in the stadium, your special flags etc. That's with drawing with Hull with a full ish stadium, I can only imagine how shite it would be drawing with Barrow.

I bet you're the type to listen for 90 minutes to find a lull in the atmosphere then use that bit as a gotcha moment. "Ahh see, I was right all along, this 15 second clip shows no noise so therefore it was like that all game". 🙄

A league 2 side is always going to be very happy to be holding a championship side especially as the game goes on.

Also there was plenty of noise made by home fans as even Lee Charles video shows, nothing groundbreaking but it was a cup game with a relativity low attendance. But Norfolk said not a peep so who's chanting our songs?

Fans left by half time? You're literally making stuff up because you aren't intelligent enough to find some real things to criticise.

It's no wonder even the nobbers shipped you off to Norfolk.

Great opening post and very true 👏👏👏👍👍 Now I've had time to reflect and look at the positives rather than moaning about who we've go and what we haven't done I'm back in the swing and really looking forward to Saturday's game hoping we can really put these Swans to the sword - UTMP 👍

Mate you are making yourself look silly, look at facts before saying something, well mind you, you and the other nobbers like talking crap anyway because it’s yours and their favourite hobby. 😂

Mellor for SSN was level with the half way line and had ‘pool fans to the right of him and to the left and also behind the goals to his left but all you could hear was the Barrow fans stood behind the goals to his right. Only time you could hear the ‘pool fans was when the 90 minutes were up and there were a few boos 👍

That would be Mellor. I was sat in Block N near the half way line and there were no boos. Its your PNE TV giving you feedback.

Please can we stop Norfucuk White spouting off his negative bullshit on hear (he is surely by now the mods must know) no less than a wind up merchant at best ,please ban this guy for good off our forum.

Utter rubbish, we chanted throughout and nobody left early. To be fair Barrow made plenty of noise, but so did we. The irony of a Nobber talking about lack of atmosphere, when they have the biggest library in the North West.

You’re embarrassing your self.
Ever heard the saying: “what goes around….”?
You’re not the well-balanced, fair minded guy that I took you for. Shame.

I am not a wind up merchant at all. I was being respectfull in my posts but a number on here posted that I was trying to bee too nice and two faced and I shoul post what I think, so which would you rather I do? BTW if your mods asked me to be more careful in what I post I would do as requested as I know how hard being a mod can be.

Norfolk, time to reinvent yourself. Drop the 'White' in favour of 'Inclue.'

Welcome to the board.... Norfolk Inclue

Ignore knobhead white, what an attention seeker. Swansea fans must be pulling their hair out, all the possession all of the time as at MK Dons, but feck me would you like to watch that every week.

I'm really glad you took my advice and decided to be yourself.

At least then we can see what you really think.

The only slight issue is..... most of your silly comments are now even easier to debunk and you look even dafter.

You can't hide behind a false persona anymore to excuse it. 😂

Just reading their message board and it sounds like they have the same problem of not being able to do much in the final third but interestingly they are also now struggling at the back which is where the whole 'keeping possession' falls down somewhat.
