Surprised we’ve not had a thread about this but then again it is AVFTT with its lefti views.

He’s the Jew at the centre of the anti Semitic spat by a Met Police Sargent who basically was being reprimanded for being a Jew at a Palestinian March.

The PM is absolutely appalled at the dressing down he got and has demanded answers from the Met.

I wonder if he was a Arab/Muslim at a Jewish March he would have been subjected to the same dressing down my the police? Not a chance under Khan’s London both he and Sir Mark Rowley have a lot to answer for.

Mr Gideon and the leaders of the Jewish community in London have demanded both are removed from office immediately so it’s a from me even though a cover up will happen and once again nothing will happen as he’s just one Jew after all so who cares?

Rowley in particular has been responsible for so many Met cock ups over the years I’ve lost count yet he seems to worm his way out of everything by blaming others I suppose being a chum of Khan helps though.

The Met’s Commissioner Rowley has been showing that the police operate independently from government decisions/opinions which has got up Sunak’s nose and others. Especially with regard to the Met’s refusal to ban any protest marches because he said that would have been simply illegal for himself. But it’s only the Palestine protests that seem to upset the right wingers.

So now we get agitators “simply wanting to cross the road” just when a march happens to be passing while all being filmed by themselves. Bullshit from a self-confessed “Jewish rights campaigner”. Who has now turned up on all this morning’s breakfast TV shows.

The policeman was very crass in his use of words but he’s probably not too skilled verbally and he was being set up intentionally. He was just trying, clumsily, to prevent the risk of a breach of the peace. And Sunak has now waded in calling the police “antisemitic” and egged on by the right wing press who are all exploiting a situation that has been provoked intentionally, just to get at Commisioner Rowley. I suppose it’s a variation on the police being called “institutionally racist”.

The police are being kicked around like a political football by all sides.
