Gift card -who knew?

I have an old gift card (One4all) which expires in May.
But I’ve been charged £20 for not using it.
As a gesture of good will they are cancelling the charges.
New one on me!

The rules around gift cards are quite oppressive, particularly regarding expiry dates. With many, you lose the money if not spent within the time. The company I work for allows you to get the money on a new one, via customer services, and I don't know why more don't do that.

Actually, thinking about it, I do know. They are taking your money.

In that case they did send me a new card.

Yep, I don't want giftcards anymore, waste of money. I inevitably put them in a drawer or wallet and then they expire after 12 months.
