"All we need is a decent ref" aka excuses in place already.
 
What we need is to nick a goal in the first 5 mins and then shithouse our way to a 1-0 will, would take that all day long
 
Lets get all of the nerves out of the way and let the players know we believe in them, lets not wait for us to score before we join in with the fabulous support in the north.

Our players have nothing to lose with this game, it's a free swing, so they must give their all.
Message to our players: Adopt the Irish boxer Stephen McKenna's attitude - "I love fighting, no matter who he is, I just want to knock the other guy out" - he never takes a backward step and fights like a man possessed! (Another terrific win last night, against a very tough, tricky Frenchman).

Love all the positivity here, but the harsh facts are we are playing a PL side from last season and they are hot favourites and this game worries me.
 
There's no doubt the timing of it isn't ideal as i'd be very confident if we were playing 2/3rds of the division today, I still believe we can do it, but we may need quite a few 50/50 bounces/decisions to go our way.
 
would be nice to get jerry on the scoresheet early on from open play, get him rolling. think we might be much better balanced for this game than we have for the rest of the games this season.

fulham like west brom and sheffield last season were championship sides playing in the PL, they were not a good side last season, and i dont expect them to be much more than an average championship side even though they are top at the moment having had some good results.

we will see;)
 
Reserving judgement until I see the team sheet.
Tbh I’m expecting a loss today - anything else would be a bonus.
Much harder than the Millwall game and we managed to lose that.

I'm now moving from a 2-2 to a 1-3 loss and I really hope I'm wrong!

The way the game's going, and at 1-0, we can definitely get something out of this.
The North stand sounds awesome on radio Lancs (I assume it's them and not the West 🤣). JJ needs to support Jerry a bit more or Shayne needs to come on.
 
My fears were unfounded, terrific performance from the lads, we defended really well and looked so dangerous on the flanks with Josh Bowler a major threat with his pace, excellent three points. 👍

Good effort all round and defensively better
Thought Anderson had a good one but they all did
No moans about Keogh today
 
Hopefully my post today helped - they’ll be none better results in the English League than ours - our first clean sheet and beat a multi international line up
