Boxer Glenn McCrory cleared of sexually assaulting three waitresses

McCrory, 59, was a guest speaker at a pre fight dinner before the Anthony Joshua v Oleksandr Uysk world heavyweight title bout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 26, 2021.

The boxer Glen McCrory was found not guilty of sexual assault for using the word pet and touching the elbow of a waitress.

If the barrier for prosecuting someone is this low, then how many more famous celebs, sportsmen, and musicians are going to be

facing prosecution for using the words love, me duck, darling, honey, babe etc. Especially when most people when they get told a name

almost always forget it straight away. Obviously calling someone a waiter or waitress is now fraught with danger, perhaps everyone will

have to wear a badge with their preferred name on it. The badge will have to be located away from any areas of the body that may cause offense by

looking at it.

No Comment on the report but I know Glenn. Annfield Plain's most famous son. I once got refused service in a bank in Norfolk as I called the bank worker 'pet' (it was the day my Dad died). Not a good time, but that's what you call people? Glenn has fallen from grace a little; had a pub up the west end of Newcastle a few years ago. he went to the same school as my kids but somewhat older.
