Absolutely. If Vilas wasnt leaving i doubt he'd play. Only explanation I can think of.

I saw Glouc demolish Sussex at Hove on my hols last week so I know we will have to be at our best today. Harvey's Sussex Best on the bar. 👍
 
Ffs. I always back our bowlers but this is looking bleak. Losing 5 wickets could be really costly if the rain/DLS comes into play.

It'll be a frustrating end to a pretty poor season all in all if we get beat here.
 
Came back out and Luke Wells toppled over and got stumped. Not Lancs' day!

We've been far better away from home in this cup.

Just a bad day with the bat and we've had too many of them this season, frankly, to have been in with a sniff of winning anything.
 
As a cricket expert I can confirm that things are not going according to plan. My expertise is available at a very reasonable rate.

Gloucester are in great form and full of confidence, on their own patch. We've had a messy season.

I'm no expert either, but I would prefer us to limit the star player contracts and focus on our core squad. Give more match time to the players who are here all year. Not sure we've benefitted greatly from Buttler, Livingstone, Salt and De Grandhomme dropping in on their travels? Williams and Mitchell have both contributed well of course.

Be good to speed up the development of the likes of Balderson Aspinwall Blatherwick Bell Lavelle Morley Hurst. Alongside Jennings Croft Bailey Bohannon Williams Hartley Wood and Wells. Thats 15 players.

Remember the name Kesh Fonseka , my mate knows one of the age group coaches at OT and he raves about him as a batting prospect. Scored several 50`s for England U19s this week.

I have very high hopes for Aspinwall and Hurst especially the former, he looks class in the making.
 
Aspinwall run out for 47. Tragic, hesitated and then ran and just short. We needed him to stick in there.

Didnt even need half the overs.

Embarrassing really for a county like Lancashire.

Maybe we do need Buttler Livingstone and Salt. 😀

It's my mums 80th this weekend mate so I set off driving back to the gold coast on Friday afternoon. Fortunately I missed the poor show . . . a shame really after the youngsters doing so well for most of the comp. Looks bright for the future mind.

Crofty should have played instead of Vilas IMO.
