Gnando in Le Mans start.

He plays where he likes
He plays where he likes
He's Armand Gnanduillet
He plays where he likes.

Fancy wanting to play football in Le Mans. What a miserable life.

Strange? Le Mans is 50 miles from Angers, where he was born. Nowt strange about it really. Footballers are motivated in different ways. Some lose their motivation entirely. He's a lad in his 20s who has travelled, played in England, Scotland, Turkey and France, and had a short trip to South Africa. He is an unusual player who often doesn't fit with coaches rigid systems, and clubs change their coaches. He hasn't been afraid to move to different countries to play. He's had a better start to his working life than most of us, experience wise.

Le Mans is probably the least strange move he could have made! Especially if he drives their fans around the bend!

Good luck to him. Back in his home nation. Nice place to work too.

He must have earned some decent money over the years with all these moves.

I loved watching Gnando cos he was so different. Not a cardboard cut out academy graduate. Quite the opposite. I also enjoyed all the goals he scored for us.
He was fascinating and definitely memorable because you never knew if he was about to do something great or something laughable.

Laughable is too strong in my opinion. I don't recall laughable. He was unpredictable, but that is a strength too. He scored some great goals.

I liked him. We’ve had target men who were better technically but wouldn’t get stuck in and didn’t score as many goals for us. He wasn’t perfect but I bet defenders hated playing against him and he had a goal in him too. Fair play with the move being close to home, I was also thinking about his South African jaunt and a move to the Turkish second division a few months after there’d been interest from the Championship.
