Go get Cosgrove

Take out his goals in the Scottish Mickey Mouse league he is hardly prolific, could come good but we need goals now.

Apparently on £16k a week at Brum, who want any loaning club to be paying at least half his wages (which Plymouth did last year).

Reading the Plymouth forum there are mixed reviews. Started brilliantly then disappeared for several matches. Most would have signed him as like us he was a different type of striker than what they had. However they would not have paid a good fee for him. Seems a bit of a Madine which would be a good option for us.

I don't necessarily think he'd be in the team to score, but allow others to get more space and bring them into play. Gaz Goals was great at that rather than being prolific.
If he was to sign you think he wouldn’t be in the team to score?

That sums up AVFTT in a nutshell 😂

Not solely. Yates was getting pelters on here in the covid season because he wasn't scoring, but he was still creating for others and then found his shooting boots.

Birmingham paid £2m for him so will they be really happy let him go for free? I'm not so sure, maybe one that they wait till the last minute to see if they can sell him to recuperate some money back, before letting him out on loan if no one comes in.

It’s nonsense whatever way you dress it up.

We currently have a forward line that can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo and you’d add to that with a striker who’s role is primarily to make space??

We need a 20+ striker, hopefully Lavs if he can last the season and another with 15+. We certainly don’t need a Madine type player.

Lavery would have a far better chance of getting twenty if he was playing alongside someone like Madine.

For years we've been too dependent on one player getting goals. I'm hoping the midfield start to chip in with a few each.

The positioning of Carey, Morgan and Dougall on Tuesday will lead to next to fuck all goals. Extremely peculiar positioning by all 3 of them specifically.

Mason Greenwood anyone??

We’ve managed our fair share of anti social bell ends here over the years. At least this one is a bloody good player.

It’s not peculiar when they’ve trained day in day out to take up those positions.

The game plan was obvious after the first 45 mins against Burton.

Stop the other team and hope to create one or two chances to score.

Left that game bored. I’ll see if I leave bored again on Saturday.

Can't see anyone coming in for him if he's on £16k p/w, I think Birmingham will be happy to get as much of his wages off the books as possible.
