Going Forward ....

I think it's safe to say we are all hurting this morning after a shocking performance last night. There's been lots of discussions about whether the manager should go and whether it's worth renewing your season ticket if he remains for next season.

For me it's simple. This is my club and I will continue to support and renew my ticket as long as I am both physically and financially able to regardless of the manager. I also accept that many will have different opinions on this.

However, I would like to be able to watch entertaining football, which has passion. Currently that is not happening, three of us go each week and for the most part we just can't fathom out why we are set up the way we are, and how we cannot seem to perform consistently. And yes the football is boring.

I don't want anyone to lose their job, but throughout my career if something wasn't working I changed it. If Critch doesn't change his approach, then sooner or later he will be gone. Managers and players come and go, but our club is constant.

I will continue to support them even though at the moment it's not very enjoyable.

The inability to change a failed system is a major red flag for me for a manager.

The inability to see qualities in players and recruit properly when I think he's been given the chance to is also a major red flag.

The refusal to shoulder ANY blame when it goes wrong is a major red flag.

Watching players give limited effort and not show ANY signs of progress, we have regressed in performances which suggests to me the players aren't playing for the manager.

I personally would be getting rid of Neil as we are showing next to zero signs of progression. Once the play offs are actually unachievable we should release him and start the planning for next season.

He's alienating fans with the inconsistent performances, why should I spent 150-200 quid on Carlisle or Wigan away? If it wasn't for going to see some good friends and good people it would represent horrendous value for money.
