Goodbye Gary! Still your finest moment

My favourite piece of shithousery from him was at Oxford in the league game.One of their players went down after a foul and Madine furiously signalled to their bench to get their physios on.The lad was fine and straight up on his feet but has to walk off the pitch and Oxford are down to ten.Gaz strolls off sniggering to himself.
 
Underrated by many I thought, a good player with nice touch for a big guy and a football brain as well as the well documented sh1thousery! Defensively essential in Critchleys team too, protecting the keeper and for me, the best we had at dealing with set pieces.

all the best to Gaz, I hope the injury heals quickly and he gets back on a pitch soon.
 
I was never a fan of Madine at all and just didn't rate him as he's not my type of player. That said he always seemed to give us what he had and I wish him well for the future. I agree his highlight was coming out of the sea and fair play to him for doing it. Great goal vs Wigan away too this season. I was right behind that and it was a great strike.
 
Love big Gaz. Gutted he’s gone but correct decision given the severity of his latest injury.
A couple of big lads in this transfer window wouldn’t go a miss to improve us on set pieces.
 
I will always remember his 2 minute one tackle performance away at Bristol City this season. Game over before we started
 
He not only brought a good brain and a physical presence, he brought character to a team which was relatively young. Every squad need a big Gaz.

I’ll miss the shithousery. Can’t remember who it was against but when we were time wasting in last minute and he turned into Messi for about 30 seconds, that interview after a night game where he was wearing sunglasses too.

Pretty sure he donated a few grand to the charity fund last year too, top man 👍🏻
 
Every team needs a Madine. It's a real shame though, that at this time in his career he may have a career ending injury. I sincerely hope he gets fit soon, and makes a swift return. ( and as others have said ...not against us 🤣 ) Thank you Gary ...good luck and best wishes.
