Grealish

Did city really pay £100m, am I missing something?
First thing he does when he comes on the pitch is look up at the screen to look at himself.
First thing Henderson does was shout at other players

They were all as shit as each other. At least Grealish looks to play football. Saka and Sterling were pointless. Mount very average and Bellingham looked lost. Trippier offers nothing going forward and too slow.

It was shocking but you have to expect that from an average team.

The fact Foden doesn’t get a look in is strange.

It was an embarrassing performance. USA made a mockery of our so called talented squad. Just got to hope it will do us good in the long run.

He's a talented little cheat for sure and I struggle to warm to him. The way he wears his socks and shinnies just says "kick me". Played better than Mount, Saka, Bellingham, Rice or Sterling though in his short time on the pitch, though that wouldn't be too hard to do.

I'm split on Grealish. He invites contact all the time and always end up on the deck. The problem with buying free kicks all the time is that it allows the opposition to get back into position so you are always facing 2 banks of four again and again.

I can see why some folk might be frustrated by Grealish but warts and all, I like him.

He certainly makes things happen and when he does come on at the end of England games some will say he's not the player to come on and shore things up but maybe instead of dropping deep and trying to hold on, give the ball to Grealish and he will keep it for a while or draw a foul.

I can see why Grealish would not be one of Wokegate's favourites.

Spends more time rolling around on the floor than Emile heskey used to do…but if you gonna play for free kicks around the box you need a ward-prowse type player imo…
