Guaranteed starters on Saturday?

So based on last night who is guaranteed to play on Saturday?
Hope that Rhodes is fully recovered, certainly Joseph, hopefully Dembele, Morgan, Eki, Coulson, Husband, CJ, Grimmy (although I have more confidence in O'Donnel), I thought Pennington, Casey, GABRIEL and Lyons all deserve a shout (Gabriel in capitals as I thought he was outstanding) and Kouassi really impressed.
Maybe one or two newbies as well?

Rotate Dembele & CJ. Let Dembele twist & turn & pull people here & there for an hour then let CJ run at tiring defenders for half an hour.
Injuries aside for Saturday msybe a front 3 of Dembele / Joseph & CJ
Last sentence, absolutely. That's an all action front 3 that defenders would hate playing against.

First name on the team sheet Jordan Gabriel.
He's the most valuable asset that we own. He will always give 100% & there's no one more loyal to the team, fans & community than him.
He reminds me in many ways of John Hills, unfortunately that includes his 'never say no' commitment to tackling & that can & does result in injuries.
Grimmy will return, although Richard O'Donnell deserves a run in the team (being a reserve keeper must be the worst position in any squad).

Joseph should have been in the 18 last night but is I’ll was up being sick all Monday night. Hopefully he recovers in time
Don’t think Rhodes will be involved with rib injury
Would like to see O’Donnell start after last heroics. Cj was far more effective further up the pitch as I’ve said all season. Gabriel hopefully will start he was immense last night. Kouassi I’m guessing will be on the bench only just back last night after a 10 week injury lay off.

Strange we all have different views.
I thought Pennington gave the ball away consistently & Lyons lost his confidence. Both poor.
Agree with this, can't see either of them starting on Saturday. There was a moment last night when Lyons pulled out of a challenge in front of Critchley that felt like John-Jules at Forest, a loan might do him some good.

Grimshaw
Casey Ekpiteta Husband
Hamilton Morgan Norburn Coulson
Dembele
Rhodes Joseph

If Rhodes and Joseph are both OK, I don't expect any changes.

O’Donnell
Gabriel Casey Pennington husband coulson
Norburn Morgan cj
Dembele Joseph( hopefully if recovered)

SAME as last night. not one player let us down last night. Even my son who does take a lot of impressing said the shape and movement were near championship quality.

Apparently, sorry if its been mentioned earlier, Rhodes and Morgan weren't involved last night due to knocks from Saturday and Joseph was ill. All those three would be guaranteed starters on Saturday.
I hope Critchley can see Jordan Gabriel must start and personally, I'd go with Pennington Casey/Marv and Husband across the back.

Eki is not the kind of CB that fits into the centre of a three at the back as much as I love the guy, we either convert Pennington into that role or buy some who can.

Morgan Dembele Joseph Husband, nailed on

Rhodes ( injury?) Gabriel - surely to god, Coulson - balance and CJ highly likely

Kouassi off the bench

If Connolly spent less time grappling with the opposition and actually tried to get the ball, he wouldn't end up having to rugby tackle them. He just wasn't looking at the ball in the lead up to that fiasco.

I'm thinking maybe Dembele should be the impact sub on Saturday playing against a big physical team at their place. Bring him on when they are getting a bit leggy and more prone to committing a foul. A lot depends on the ref for this one.
I'd go with
Grimshaw
Casey Ekpiteta Husband
Gabriel Morgan Norburn Coulson
Hamilton Kouassi Joseph

O'Donnell Lyons Pennington Virtue Dembele Lavery Rhodes

If Rhodes isn't fit it will have to be Carey, Connolly doesn't make the 18.

Can see the dilemma in that system of leaving out CJs pace for the naturally gifted wing back Gabriel. Who else can CJ come in for as not leaving out Dembele.

Guaranteed are Grimmy, Hubby, Coulson, Norbo, Morgan, Rhodes (subject to), CJ, Dembo. The other 4 could be dartboard selection.

I thought the same about Pennington and I didn't actually think Gabriel played like World Footballer of the Year in the first half either.
BUT both players grew into the game and I'd definitely start Gabriel on Saturday and probably Pennington but I'm sure we'll see Callum back as RCB.

Will be between Casey & Pennington for the right side of the back 3. Marvin & Husband will be the other 2 centre backs.

I cant see Gabriel getting back in the team whilst CJ remains flavour of the month, although I agree that he's worth a place in the starting lineup. Critchley only seems to squad rotate properly for the cup games, and he'll need to change that mindset if we are to use the squad fully and reach the play offs. Can't afford any slip ups due to players not being at their sharpest.

We all have our favourites but Stevenage are probably the overall tallest side in the league. Will Critch consider that in defence? (Doubt it.)

Grimmy
Casey Marv Husband
Gabriel Norburn Morgan Coulson
Dembele
CJ Joseph

I think that will be close to the XI. Main doubt is Casey, could be Pennington or Connolly.

For once, I'd say Critch would be right to look at the opposition and set up in a way to counter what they can do.
We then have enough players who can create stuff for ourselves.
