Given what has happened this last few days, you do wonder whether she was making a fair point, relatively speaking.

I don't want to depress anyone but Diane Abbott is highly respected in her constituency, It's London, they do things differently there. Khan will be Mayor again and both Abbott and Corbyn would walk it if they stood as independents. With Tory clowns like Benton we are in no position to point fingers.

I agree with that to a fair extent. But on a day when the Government made another effort to demonise anyone who doesn't agree with them completely outwith the law of the land, I'm very surprised you are focussing on something as unimportant as this.

Oh, I think what they are doing is beyond contemptible, they seem to stoop to new lows on a daily basis you almost get used to it, I get your point but this just made me laugh out loud and not in a good way. What with all this and Everton FC it has been another WTF day in England. We are going to have the battle between Biden & Trump to look forward to as well as a GE here, I have no doubt it will all be really horrible but we won't be able to look away. It's all a bit depressing really.
