Some of you may know Rick Footman, he’s one of our regulars in The Armfield Club.

He comes in with his mate Gary (both big Spurs fans, who also attend many BFC games 🧡).

Rick’s dad ‘Buster’ who worked in Bristol City’s medical department and became the first team kit man, passed away in 2020 and is being recognised during the half time interval tomorrow.

Rick is being interviewed on the pitch so it would be great if the travelling Seasiders can give him their support 🍊.

I was unaware of this link until recently, so I did a bit of googling on Rick’s dad and have put a link below.

Buster served in the Royal Marines prior to his involvement with Bristol City and pledged a lifetime of support to raising money for charitable causes.

This is a quote from Bristol City President Marina Dolman …….. "He was a great human being, always with a smile - that was the most wonderful thing about him. He never said no to helping people."

Here’s a link to the tribute to Buster from the Bristol City website in 2020 :

Hope it all goes well for you tomorrow Rick lad - UTP 🧡👍
