Lyons, Thompson, Wright, Emmerson all came with transfer fees. Bridcutt was a free. Williams, Patino, Fiorini, Poveda, Corbeanu won’t be fully free. The ‘transfer’ brain trust were slow and clearly didn’t find realistic or the right quality targets. Bullshit’s posturing and throwing in bids all over the shop didn’t help, but 10 players in, plus those other ‘development’ lads isn’t a small number.
