Exactly, literally anger over something that will never, ever happen. Why react to these people? It's never going to happen, it's just some mentalist bloggers looking for publicity.
No anger, it's all getting quite amusing they're making themselves look right fools now.Exactly, literally anger over something that will never, ever happen.
People are riled by the suggestion. Equally as ridiculous as the original suggestion. No anger, it gets quite amusing they're making themselves look right fools now.
A limited sense of humour then. Probably explains why comedy is dying if people can't see the funny side of this kind of nonsense.People are riled by the suggestion. Equally as ridiculous as the original suggestion.
There are many words whose meanings evolve over time in all languages. Not a reason to want them cancelled.Actually, 'curry' is just a single particular dish in Indian cooking and not a whole array of sauces. We seem to wrongly use the term over here so I suspect that is the root reason for the article which probably mentioned how the meaning of the word got twisted by the British.
It's more to do with educating people that using the term 'curry' is wrong because 'curry' is not a generic overall genre. It's like being at McDonalds and them asking if you want 'Tomato Ketchup' and you saying, no I want 'sauce'. They would say, which sauce? The word 'curry' relates to a particular single thing - i.e. like 'Tomato Ketchup' differs to Mayonnaise. There are many words whose meanings evolve over time in all languages. "It's like being at McDonalds and them asking if you want 'Tomato Ketchup' and you saying, no I want 'sauce'." Cobblers . Who'd go into a takeaway or restaurant and just ask for a curry? It's been a generic term for as long as I remember same as sauce is a generic term but we always use the correct name when ordering. Like I said this is all becoming very amusing. It's more to do with educating people that using the term 'curry' is wrong because 'curry' is not a generic overall genre. To call for the cancellation of incorrect usage is in this case perfectly valid. It's nothing to get offended by just because we went there as foreigners and got confused by local words!
You still don't get it!!!"It's like being at McDonalds and them asking if you want 'Tomato Ketchup' and you saying, no I want 'sauce'." Cobblers . No, but he might need to be put in an induced korma.I had a mate whose name was Curry.
Does this mean he might be cancelled?
And all his family.
I was cancelled a long time ago, Dave. Poor me. eh?I had a mate whose name was Curry.
Does this mean he might be cancelled?

Brilliant! No, but he might need to be put in an induced korma.
Oh, I get it..............................there're some crackin' wind-ups on social media................they have to be, surely. Apparently a University in America has removed a big rock from its grounds because some twonk claimed it was a symbol of oppression. I love 'em.You still don't get it!!!
So you want to buy some chips from your chip shop, do you go in and say, please can I have some chips sauce?
The next day you want a kebab, do you go in the kebab shop and ask for a donner kebab sauce?
The following day you want a pizza so go in and ask them for a Margherita sauce?
That's what we have done with the word curry. We wrongly call all those Indian dishes curry even when they aren't!
