From Middlesbrough for the rest of the season. Left back/Midfielder.
Was it last time under Critchley we had a running joke about signing left backs, as we seemed obsessed with the position? He only got 19 league starts at Aberdeen last season in a full season loan, and ended up on the right of midfield. I'm not sure how he fits in but I guess one or two will be leaving. I can only think that Critch feels short of left sided defenders and the January options are limited.
Answered your own question there- bring on the inverted wing back!He only got 19 league starts at Aberdeen last season in a full season loan, and ended up on the right of midfield. Rings a bell! Was it last time under Critchley we had a running joke about signing left backs, as we seemed obsessed with the position?
How many good days does he have?Good player on his day.
Aberdeen fans seem to say he had a few good games in the 30 he played. How many a few means is anyone's guess. As for his spell at Peterborough, their fans seem united in how poor he was. We've heard it all before though, let's judge the lad in a tangerine shirt and get right behind him.How many good days does he have?
Nor do ICritchley clearly doesn't rate Dom Thompson. That much has been clear since the pre-season friendly against Hibs where he was extremely frustrated with him.
Me neitherNor do I
Stephen Crainey was shite according to Leed's fans...Aberdeen fans seem to say he had a few good games in the 30 he played. How many a few means is anyone's guess. Appleton told us that Thompson would make the club a lot of moneyMe neither
He may well do, but not in a footballing capacity.Appleton told us that Thompson would make the club a lot of money
Thompson set off like a house on fire when he arrived but then unfortunately the mistakes started to come and he still has a few in his locker!Appleton told us that Thompson would make the club a lot of money
Why would it?A left sided player - could this possibly mean Kenny is on the move?
Agreed TB but I think we should try and take his mistakes “out of his locker”Thompson set off like a house on fire when he arrived but then unfortunately the mistakes started to come and he still has a few in his locker!

Clueless, but got us a draw at a prem side, got us promoted and stable in the Championship. Now rebuilding with the strongest home record in the league.Hardly an upgrade on those already here.
More crap from the Clueless one.
Why wouldn't it?Why would it?
Cover for Hubby? Not sure why we need this signing tbh.
Nor would I say promotion was all Critchley's own work. Calderwood's input was immeasurable...as was McCall's during our 'stable' period.Clueless, but got us a draw at a prem side, got us promoted and stable in the Championship. Now rebuilding with the strongest home record in the league.
Frustrating maybe, but I wouldn’t say ‘clueless’ is accurate.
Perhaps he's going to make a big offer for him?Appleton told us that Thompson would make the club a lot of money
I agree with all of that.Nor would I say promotion was all Critchley's own work. Calderwood's input was immeasurable...as was McCall's during our 'stable' period.
Currently a very good home record and a pitiful away record.
I can't see it being down to budget. In theory the 2 NC has now would probably be in and around the cost of a decent No 2.I agree with all of that.
I’m still wondering if we’re not bringing in a decent number two due to a budgeting decision.
Learn a lot…like how to hit the long ball to the oppositionWelcome to the seaside HC.
I imagine it’s quite hard to come in to a new team in January. You’ve got to learn a lot in a short time and make a fast impression to get a look in.
