Anyone know where I could get 20 to 40 litres of heating oil at a reasonable price? Getting quotes of over £1.50 litre for such small quantities when at 500 litres it's about 80p a litre.

I think you'd pay that for such low amounts. The min I get is 500 litres and sometimes 750

It depends what you want it for … if it’s for domestic heating then normally that’s Kerosene… and you’re going to pay that price for a small quantity.
If it’s for a portable heater, it could be Gas Oil, which is Red Diesel… So it’s probably cheaper to buy normal diesel at the pump, unless you know a farmer who would sell you a can full.
