HELP finance option

Help needed, season ticket office is closed but I just tried to do the finance option because it was advertised as 0% finance and just seemed easier on the bank balance to spread the cost.

Anyway saw the APR and thought fuck that, I’ll just buy it outright next month because it’ll actually be cheaper. Now the order is showing as confirmed but the finance I’ve obviously not gone through with. Anyone got any experience, presumably this happens when people are rejected for finance and can’t go through with the cost? Will the order just not be processed?

I had the same earlier this week, the finance option initially shows as the same price but when you click through there's a fee that effectively makes it 30-odd%. Very misleading in my view. However, having clicked on the finance option your renewal notification disappears and there's now no way to renew.
I emailed the ticket office and the next morning they emailed me back to say that my renewal notification had been restored, so I was able to pay by card.
Not sure how you'll get on with the early bird deadline having now past but I'd suggest emailing the ticket office and asking them to let you renew at the early bird price, after all it's not your fault that your renewal effectively went off sale, simply because there was no facility online to amend your initial choice to pay by finance.

This won’t help but the finance option is an utter farce and of no help to the vast majority of the fanbase. It’s one of my very few but major gripes with SS. It’s unnecessary and could easily be done differently.

I was going to pay monthly but the system crashed. Having seen the above this morning I rang the ticket office to pay the full amount. I spoke to a very helpful lady called Sarah who cancelled the pending finance application for me and processed my request at early bird prices within 5 minutes.
