On reflection Charlotte Duncker probably in line for a promotion. Who said the Times was a 'stuffy' newspaper.

Especially considering that the Times continue to employ Martin Samuel (I
West Ham), whose motives for deriding the Prem's Profit and Sustainability Rules are, to say the least, spurious judging by this recent tweet 
Henry was one of those who kept giving exposure to our boycott and the Rotten Regime. Definitely one of the good guys.
I feel an email to the Times coming on, and I'll be looking out for where Henry turns up next.

They've recently got Martin Samuels in on big money. Winter will have been on more than MS is getting now.
Losing HW was probably to stop the paper breaching FFPaper rules.

I remember having a couple of telephone conversation with Henry during the protest years.
Trying to remember the specific point that rankled with us ??? He had intimated that he would come out and say something about The O’s - but at the last minute he reneged as he was frightened of the possible comeback from his employers …. might have been signing a petition - can’t remember exactly …

When I came downstairs in the morning it was persisting down with rain. There were three kids playing pool, no-one else to be seen. The eldest must have been about 9. She confidently told me where to leave my keys. Blackpool eh, you just have to love the Gold Coast

Why mention that?? Why bring her into it ???? He’s being made redundant as in the position is no longer there.
Sorry if I offended you. However, it seems to me the way of the world currently that middle aged white men are disappearing from media positions. Sky Sports being another example . The remark about Alex Scott was tongue in cheek as she seems to be everywhere these days. If Henry has been made redundant I hope he receives his rightful redundancy package.

Just an aside. For me, the best investigative journalist on our side during the Oyston years was David Conn of The Guardian.
