Hapless and it almost feels like it's on purpose after we just start getting our hopes up he picks losers ahead of actual football players.
Connolly is not of this level and that has just finished me off with CJ altogether now.

I hate to say but the North needs to turn on Crotchless win lose or draw the next game.

Unfortunately Critchley is here for at least this season and next according to Sadler. He knows we aren’t getting out of this league any time soon
 
The usual routine slagging off of Connolly and he isn't the greatest but neither is he the reason we lost tonight. In fact he stopped us losing by more with two great bits of defending in the first half. May I instead present to you a manager that, faced with a crumbling effort to reach the lower reaches of the playoffs, persists with his baffling tactics and formation and goes and brings on Matty Virtue as right wing back. Jaw dropping incompetence from the fister.

I do agree but come on Connolly he’s consistently shite. Good at picking up yellow cards I’ll give you that.

Not the best I agree but at least he's honest. When I look at the players hiding in pain sight and taking the safe option rather than taking the risks they need to it drives me insane.

It's harsh on Connolly, because he isnt the reason we lost and it's not his fault he keeps getting picked. I think sometimes we as fans, forget that.
 
It’s a shame because I do think they are a good bunch they are just mismanaged although husband hasn’t done well there of late he puts connelly in instead of changing the formation. We start to see Carey develop he’s dropped and nowhere to be seen for weeks as was Morgan, ekpiteta dropped for the Cheltenham match the players are trying you could see that tonight I think Neil’s lost the plot it was ok for him first time around at a club with a buzz about it but he’s been found out

I'm starting to believe Sadler and Critchley have come to an agreement to keep Blackpool in the third tier because Sadler can't afford to compete in the Championship. Win your home games, lose away games on purpose

My opinion is that when he's picked the others just don't play aswell, like they know he is a weak link. Be interesting to see our results with him starting and without him starting as I could be wrong but my guess is we pick up more points when he doesn't play.

As professional footballers if they think they have a weak link in the team they should up there game to compensate, if our players think otherwise they deserve to get relegated
 
Critchley deserves all the criticism coming his way. The hoof ball tactics are a joke. That said we can't just blame these performances on the manager. Barring Grimmy and Lyons, the rest were a disgrace, led by Norburn who is quite possibly the worst captain I can ever recall playing for the club. Their keeper didn't need to make a single save, not one! It beggars belief that we can perform like we did on Saturday and then serve up that tripe tonight. We're miles off being a promotion side and after all the euphoria of the weekend, I think our season is stone dead.

Norburn has gone from a fantastic signing last summer to being one of the worst signings the club has ever made.

What’s gone on? Just looks like he doesn’t want to be here anymore. 🤷‍♂️

Well for a start he can't run. Rarely plays any sort of forward ball and goes missing when the opposition are on top. I don't recall him winning 1 second ball, he's miles behind play and a complete liability. £300Ks worth of turd!

No individual was responsible but collectively we were awful once again.

Truth is we have too many substandard players and if the better ones are not playing we have no replacements.

Casey, Ekpiteta and Husband are our best back three and if anyone else plays we make horrendous mistakes.

In midfield Byers is our only decent player but Morgan is useful if he is not bypassed by our defence and the opposition playing hoof ball.

Lyons is out now so we xx are stuck with Gabriel, who can be good or ineffective and Coulson who only played ok on Saturday and CJ who has now lost it.

Dembele can be both excellent and flattering to deceive. I wish he could learn to stay on his feet more.

The forward line is either lightweight or shotshy without Rhodes.

All in all we need to deal with a summer clear out hopefully including the manager and build on the best of what we have. Unfortunately this season is over.
