Hill leaves Cods

Well done to them. Justifies investment in their academy and will keep the wolves from the door for a while. Maybe they’ll repay the EFL loan now?

Fleetwood players go for millions but remember the trickiest championship winger out there at times is only worth 100k

Pilley saying they will be using some/all of the money to bring new players in. I suspect they will have enough to stay up but I'd laugh my head off if they did go down.

They've actually brought two players in already but I didn’t want to upset certain posters being a Blackpool board. 🤣

Kind of puts things into perspective though a young kid of just 19 being worth £1.6m and going to a top championship club and Bowler one of our better players being valued at just £100k. 😮

Stop talking crap. "Being valued" by just one person! If Bowler was made available for transfer, it would be interesting to see what others would be willing to pay.

Crap?
My apologies but I’am only quoting actual fIgures that have been stated.
I don't think anyone really knows how much he has gone for. I've seen anything from £1m to £1.6m. Whether Crainey really gets to see any of it will be a big factor, plus his ability to get vfm when he spends, of course. That's never easy in January.

I suppose whatever they have been paid up front (prossibly not the whole amount) will help the cash flow and stem the eye-watering losses for a bit.

Big period coming up for them. The fixture list for the next few weeks looks very tasty.

Well, he was on my shopping list. £1m quote from BBC but I can understand it rising if certain things happen eg caps.
More interested in Wintle or his replacement.

Just shows Bournemouth have too much money. I think they will go up this year and think its a gamble as the lads been out injured for a bit. Had a quick look on Cods board, guffaw, some say he was overrated. Good bit of business me thinks.

"They have actually brought 2 players in already"

one a 19 yo from FC Utd, and a 17 yo from AFC Blackpool, 😴

Frankly I dont give a toss what happens 10 miles up the road.
I'm more concerned who we're getting in to replace Wintle, who the extra midfielder may be and if we're in the hunt for another striker.

I honestly think we should be in for Ellis Simms, can't see why his name hasn't been mentioned before the window opened!!😳

Ashton not Utd get yer facts right. 😴
Jaffa I think it is you that needs to check the facts - It clearly states on the the Fleetwood town FC official website that

" Fleetwood town are pleased to announce the signing of Drew Baker from NPL side FC United"

First 2 players In when I posted we’re one from AFC Blackpool and one from Ashton Utd dickhead. 🤡

Your just jealous cos someone else beat you to some Cod news or is it only post negative shit on here? 🤣
Jaffa maybe you should have checked your facts were right , before making yourself look silly by posting on here that others should get their facts right ----- 😉

So the first two players in at Fleetwood weren’t from AFC Blackpool and Ashton Utd?
Look silly? I think not. 😘

Valued by one rumour in a newspaper.

Cods have a big task ahead. Looks like 4 from 6 to go down, and they have a rookie manager and a sense to me of being on the wane. The tide's going out.

No agenda, I have no strong feelings either way, and hope they stay up. Hopefully Bolton will drop into the equation, looking perilously close after getting into play off positions earlier.

Does it really matter anyway. They have not been signed as first teamers. Building for the future in non-league I assume
No it doesn’t matter one bit but people still keep going on about it, I didn’t think people were bothered about a pub team down the road? 🤣
