Prior to that we had the four stands but with the home kop closed and the away section restricted

I remember the likes of Bolton, Stoke, Wolves all bringing thousands to swell attendance in the 70's. Only remember a handful of nobbers in the west stand with a lilyshites banner & that was it. Think everyone else in the ground were Blackpool.
