Our last 14 games played at home played ( commencing season 21/22) with an evening kick off have resulted in
1 win( QPR)
4 Draws
9 Defeats
Goals scored 16( 6 of which were v QPR) Goals conceded 32.

😳😳😳

Maybe we shouldn’t have been surprised by Tuesday night.
I no longer do these games( an age thing rather than a results thing) so I didn’t even attend the QPR game but did watch on the IPad.My last one was Huddersfield back in 21/22 and that was a 3 0 defeat😡.

Next up Cheltenham Town…🙄🙄

post edit…even worse….missed out a 1 0 defeat by Stoke in 21/22🙄so 10 defeats 7 points out of a possible 45….ouch.

I knew it was bad but that is shockingly bad….
 
Same period for away midweeks
Drew 3
Lost 5
won 3
12 points from a possible 33
Goals scored 10 Against 13

strange thing is we seem to play fewer away midweek than at home and none so far this season ….next up Fleetwood but that should have been a Saturday.
 
It tells me that the negative setup is the problem, or at least some of the reason. If Critchley looks at that, you’d think he’d decide to throw caution to the wind and play a more attacking style, nothing to lose.

So Appleton and McCarthy not exactly a great record.

Agree, McCarthy particularly set up negatively
