Hoolahan signs new contract

Grayson said in his recent Radio Lancs recent interview that Hoolahan and McComack were both on trial with Blackpool at the same time, and the only reason he didn't sign McCormack for Blackpool, was because he thought McCormack would be a bad influence on Hoolahan, as they both enjoyed the bright lights of Blackpool.

Meantime Keigan Parker....
I didn't know McCormack had been on trial with us, it was reported at the time that Robert Snodgras had come along with Wes from Livingston. All 3 of them together would have been fun.

They have Charlie Mulgrew and Ross McCormack there too.

Dad's army
Dad's Army? But I was under the impression that, with the recent sad passing of actor Ian Lavender (aka 'Pike'), there were no remaining cast members around to carry the torch for the old comedy classic. But it seems I'm wrong! For, along with ex-football pros Charlie Mulgrew, Ross McCormack, and Wes Hoolehan, also turning out, for non-League outfit Doncaster City, in the near future will be (according to Blackpool FC fan Lewis Winthorpe) a group of sportsmen going by the name of 'Dad's army'. Details of this surprise development have been described as 'a bit thin on the ground', and, try as we might, thus far we've been unable to make contact with Mr Winthorpe, but, as soon as we do, we'll be sure to keep you informed, and we'll hopefully be able to furnish you with further details concerning this surprising tale.

There’s rumours they only signed a one game deal because they were playing the league leaders at the weekend. Not sure if true though, I guess we will find out this weekend if they play again. They won 3-1 btw

I think you're right.
My mistake....it was Snodgrass.
The drinking culture in Blackpool was the reason we didn't sign him and Hoolahan together, said Grayson.

Ok

it’s got to be Hoolahan for me, too.

From the most recent time, I’d say Simms, I feel like the thing that stopped him having a more legendary status with us was the unfortunate luck just before the final. Strong player though, who did the business for us in the league and semis before hand.

Can’t not mention Kenny too, for obvious reasons!
