Whoever takes over I truly wish he can think of a better tactic at kick off than we used at every match last season, not just knock it back then hoof it up field and lose it...every time .also can we leave a player up front at corners and not have everyone in the box ,it give you an out ball and the opposition have to leave cover back as well... please 🫣

I imagine he will 👍

Yep pass back and hoof was all it was.

Instantly losing possession in many cases.

Why no pass it about a bit first, or try some sort of move from the TG.

Mix it up.

Avoiding kick offs altogether would be my preferred tactic 👍
Yep, goes back to my 90s idea of HELICOPTER BALL.

You simply hover over the pitch at a 1000ft and drop the ball to get the game started. It was rejected at the time on cost issues, but there's a lot more cash in the game now.

I was thinking of the slightly more mundane tactic of not conceding goals TBF, but Helicopter Ball could work…

Sometimes you need a better quality of player to play a better quality of football.

Where's our Vaughan,GTF or Adam?

Doesn't solve your first half/second half kick off problem though, whereas HELICOPTER BALL (c) is available for all situations, if it's not too windy.
I must admit, I kind of struggle to see one minor set play per game as much of a ‘problem’ if I’m being totally honest… It’s repeated Kick Offs throughout the course of the game that really trouble me…

In fact if any Blackpool Manager were to utter the words “Right Lads, this week we’re working on Kick Offs” then in the immortal words of Karl Oyston, I’d happily pack his bags and drive him off the end of the pier myself.

And of course, implement ‘Chopper Ball’* with immediate effect.

* I decided to repackage it to get around the copyright issue and pass it off as my own idea … 👍

Except Chopper Ball sounds like a Hell's Angels awards ceremony.

Is that the same helicopter Elton John zoomed over the pitch in and may or may not have landed in the centre circle ?

Could use a drone now much cheaper. They could also use it to drop flour bombs on the 🛎ends who throw smoke bombs / flares.👍

They had plenty of time to practice kick offs last match at Peterborough.😁
