How are preparations going for the Preston game?

Mick will have had 2 weeks to prepare for the Preston game, I have heard no news from the training ground last week, has everybody been given a week off? I also expected to hear of at least one behind closed doors friendly match last week so that the likes of Gabriel, Keshi and Ekpiteta could all get some valuable game time.

Mick has played a more attacking formation since the QPR game and I would have thought he would have wanted to work on improving the formation and tactics, especially after the Coventry result, with the aim of getting a positive result at Deepdale on Sat. In terms of any sport I am a firm believer that the more you practice and the harder you work the better you perform.
 
Does Mick realise we have a very important derby game against Preston on Sat, the build up to this crucial game since we last played a match 10 days a go is so low key, where is the fire in the belly and the rallying call from Mick. This game is so important to Blackpool fans, even more so, in the position we find ourselves in this season.

Our away performances under McCarthy have been woeful, we have lost all 6 games and never looked like winning any of them. We do really need to get something from Deepdale on Sat.

Is this the reason why Mick has been so relaxed and low profile for the last 2 weeks? His managerial record against Preston is very good and Mick is unbeaten in his last 7 games against Preston, winning 5 and drawing 2. Will the Blackpool fans be singing “ can we play you every week “ after the result on Sat afternoon?
 
Not going well. Apparently all attempts to give MM food poisoning have so far failed. It's been said that Dinosaurs can eat pretty much anything.
