How long has Larry left?

He will probably keep them up this season.
Next season is the biggest ask.
Pilley situation with trial and business make it a big problem for Cods.

Quite weird when you look at what they've done so far this season.
They've scored 24 goals which is almost the same as the sides in the top 6 and their goal difference is level and yet they are 22nd.
7 fixtures in October (2 cup games) and Wigan at home on Saturday - be interesting to see where they are by the end of the month.

Great player for us.

Brilliant manager in 1st spell. Perfect 10 and all that.

Even achieved the near impossible task of getting PNE promoted via the play-offs.

Now looks a shadow of his former self. Love the bloke but he needs a rest from football, imo. Old before his time. Mojo long since left the building. Lazy appointment. Playing it safe, 10 men behind the ball etc. Just means too many draws or unlucky, narrow defeats. Don’t think he has the nerve to ‘go for it’ anymore. On that basis alone, I think Fleetwood will struggle and stagnate under his leadership.

I think they will stick with him.....young squad, small budget, under an embargo transfers wise of some sorts so who could do better? I agree the Pilleu situation is crucial for Larry and indeed Fleetwood as a club..if it goes against him God knows where that leaves the football club?

The feel good factor evaporated within a few games of his tedious football.
I remember Turts turning to him and shrugging as he was not getting any cover.
Players apart from Gnando seemed unsure what was expected of them.
Speent a lot on Hardie and Nutts for a 1 league goal return?
We are well shut of him, but it could have been so different if he had shown a bit more enthusiasm for the job

Yup his dour Yorkshireman persona was his biggest downfall SS wanted a manager with a smile on the football and faces

He should be very proud of what he achieved as a player and a manager.

However Fleetwood is his level now.

He wasnt the man for a rebuilding project.

So why did SS appoint him? Lazy.

SG was nailed on and Terry MaccaP was stitched up well before the ....err....mutual consent.

It seemed like a decent appointment at the time.
Experienced Manager who had achieved promotion with several clubs .
Eye for bringing in decent players on a budget.
Majority were happy with his appointment.

SS quickly realised his mistake and went for a “high risk, high reward” inexperienced Manager.
A strategy he is familiar with.
I wonder how the likes of Charlie Adam and Brett Ormerod feel now after objecting to the decision to sack Grayson,

Does nobody remember our previous manager bottling it and quitting a couple of weeks before the season? In that context it made sense to go for someone who was available and had, on the face of it, a good record in the league.

Fairly sure he’d get better advice from the decision makers who are in place at the club now.

No FA Cup revenue for Sadler this season and maybe more telling only 1,362 turned up - probably 300 from Burton? So down to 1000 fans at games - not looking good for Larry or Pilley!

Grayson won't be going anywhere. The club has no money and a transfer embargo.Any new manager coming in would face the same struggles.
Incidentally to slag Fleetwoods attendance off when Blackpool's crowds per size of population are an absolute embarrassment as is your town.

Fleetwood are attract 1 in 20 of their population, Blackpool 1 in 10. Preston similar. Cheers.

What does that make your attendances then given Preston is about the same size, but you have a bigger catchment area and been in the championship for years? Got to be more than an embarrassment.

Oh that's right, the locals don't want to depress themselves by going to to watch that dog shite do they.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nobber
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

What an absolute nob this Delusions is.
Only 10,000 "on" today "cha", and everyone on penis online say they're going to boycott (which is just a thinly veiled, "I'm not going to go and watch this shit anymore, and if I call it a boycott I might get some of the reflected glory from my more illustrious neighbours on the Gold Coast")
You'll be down to 8,000 soon cha, and that's still counting all the season ticket holders who can't be arsed with it any more.

In answer to the O/p, I hope Larry and Funtime Frankie are in their respective boardrooms signing the new contract extensions they both so richly deserve.
They're the gift that keep on giving, and in these difficult times we need to keep everyone's spirits up 🧡
Looks like 1 wish came true in the whining noise thread...

What is it with these PKE fans and sounding like 12 year olds?

"Wow they do not get bigger than this" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 .. finally found their level!

You can hear 'Grayson Out, Grayson Out'

You shouldn't mention attendances when you can barely muster 10k out of a population of 220000.
No that is embarrassing

You had 9,822 home fans "on" yesterday. I think you're in denial.

We're above you in the league, above you in the attendance table, beat you just a few weeks ago, have better players than you, a better manager, and a better owner.

Now run along and get back to PNEOnline where you can all live in your own little bubble where self awareness has been banned, and you can revel in hurling abuse at fun time Frankie for not making you challenge Chelsea for the title.
