How many buy houses on the Fylde

Was interesting in Husband’s interview that he said he lives with Bees - I know he has a Missus and so do they both have houses away from the Fylde and rent together. Wonder how many players have actually bought around Blackpool and how many just rent because of the nature of football.

Also Hubby said that Gary Madine is still around the training ground. Presume he still lives local and maybe has our roots down here?

Shayne Lavery rented my sister's old house for the first year or so after joining us. Not sure if he bought thereafter but maybe most players just rent as football contracts are so time limited.

The problem with the Fylde Coast is that it is surrounded by sea on 3 sides you are only close to a few clubs. If a player joined someone like Wigan, they might decide it worth buying a house Manchester so they were within an hour of about 25 clubs.
 
I believe Stuart Moore (and his brother?) we’re living in Charlie’s old house on Hardhorn road. Not sure if still there
 
Shaun Barker bought a house in St Annes near me, and he later rented it out to Ian Evatt. Think he's since sold it though. Trev Sinclair still lives in Lytham, as of course does Stephen Dobbie. Marc Joseph and a few others too. Holloway bought a house near Fairhaven but never actually moved into it.

The goal machine was living out of the hotel, maybe still is

Trev moved from Lytham to near Warton.
 
Think Youl Mawéné (ex Nobber) lives in Lytham. Always used to see him. Might have moved as think now works for Salford City.

The team that got promoted to the Premier league had a large number of them living and buying locally, often socialising together too in local area. Probably helps with team spirit.

Beesley , Hubby , Carey , Lyons and Morgan all rent in the same apartment block in St Annes , as do Patterson and Harrington of Fleetwood.
BFC rent 2 apartments there for loanees too. Numerous other players have come and gone from there over the past few years.
 
If uve not seen it watch 'the footballer, his wife and the crash'... its about Jlloyd Samuel and sure he was renting a mansion at 18k a month.... crazy money!!

Not saying which footballer could be interested in my house should he come to the seaside.... but I've got a POND... that's all I'm saying 🤪
