How many did we have at Forest for the Play Off night?

Horrible journey there, everything was backed up traffic wise.

I missed pretty much all of the first half thanks to the traffic, and I was only coming from Birmingham but got stuck for ages in roadworks. By the time I got to the ground there was no parking anywhere, and I was driving round aimlessly as I heard a deafening roar as Earnshaw's goal went in. Ended up parking miles from the ground and having to run all the way to get there just before half time, only to find the ticket office closed so had to run around to find someone to find my ticket, which had come down on the coach.

All of that let me to be pretty sure it was going to be one of the worst nights watching football I would ever experience - I was knackered and had missed half the game and we were a goal down, and from what I'd heard on the radio before I dumped my car we had no chance in the game. to make things worse I was stood right at the very back of our block, next to a pair of really cocky stewards. They actually left midway through the second half, saying they couldn't stand it any more, which I'm not sure they were supposed to have done!

A young lad working in the Tesco petrol station on my way out of Nottingham gave me some abuse for no reason, saying we were shit and had scabbed a win (not sure how he knew that when he was working there) and that he would rather lose in the semi-final than lose in the final, which he said we would certainly do. I was in Nottingham a few weeks later for a gig and luckily he was working there so made a point of asking if he remembered his predication and he went very quiet.

Oh and tickets definitely went on general sale, as I've never had a season ticket due to distance, but I think it was only very late they went on to general sale - I remember it was a bit of a last minute decision to go.

🙄 I hear that they have been reserved for the chicken dancers

Would it be reasonable to suggest that the Pool tickets in the East weren’t released until the Muckers had all bought their tickets in the North to avoid any aggro* in the east

* for aggro, please see ‘chicken dancers’ further up the post

I genuinely hope that you are right about a full stadium, Ginge, I’ll salute the Mucker’s top brass if this is the case
