How the F***

Didn’t Pincey have us up there at one stage? Then he was found out
I remember coming away from pretty much every game in that run at the start of that season thinking 'how the hell did we win that?'.

Watford at home always sticks in my mind. I think Tom Ince had just come back from injury and came off the bench late on to win us the game. Watford hit the woodwork about 3 times that day and must have had 20+ shots.

I remember that going away to Middlesbrough was one in particular and home fluke last minute own goal against Barnsley. The Watford game was one of the craziest games. How they weren’t 5-0 up at half time I will never know.

It was our best start in history, followed by another record of 11 losses. A record only previously achieved by the same Paul Ince at Notts County!

Reading have a goal difference of just +1. That's a better indicator of ability. And they've been lucky to have no draws so far. They won't be hanging around that end of the table for too long, but good luck to them. Unbeaten Rotherham in 5th with a goal difference of +6 is a bit of a shocker too.

Judge Pincey after 10 games . Isn't that the sort of thing we said about Critch etc ?

And Rotherham go top if they win their game in hand. What that tells you is the league table isn't worth looking at after just six games.

Rotherham up there as well is a shocker, the Reading goal difference is a decent indicator I'd agree, but still?

I've seen them twice this season, for 60 minutes against us they were the better team but no end product on the day.
I watched them against Blackburn and they ripped them apart with some brilliant football.
They are there on merit, wether they remain on top I couldn't care less and for a club in a dire financial situation they still have a lot of good championship players.
