How the hell can you defend this?

Because it's the USA...Where you can bring a case to court without actually showing any evidence, proof of guilt or financial cost.
This women just hopes that 'millionaire' Mr Zimmerman, wont want the publicity and as she's suffered....Financially.....will pay her off pre-trial.

I was watching John Oliver and they showed that just to bring a case like this to court earnt lawyers on average $30,000....because the costs to the accused was over $50,000 just to defend even before a trail or evidence is presented ......So this 56? or 58? year old is going for a pay day....

Quite similar to Prince Andrew......There's money to be made!!!

Well done JC. Just one day to go before the window closes on historical abuse claims. Too late for any other victim to sue. You should be in for a bumper payout for those 'economic losses' you've suffered.

Glad Bobby Willis is not around to see this, he would be gutted.

It’s very sad - you’d think if it was genuine there’s be others that would have come out over 50-60 years. It seems if you’re a high profile celebrity then you’re fair game in the current climate for any accusations. Historic claims like this should not be in the public arena until they’re decided one way or another. If it’s false, he’s had a lot of stress and mud slung that sticks, whilst she’s probably on a no win no fee deal.

Just imagine someone bringing a charge against you from 50 or 60 years ago, how can you defend it?

I actually don't think it will be too difficult, in Dylan's case, if it does go to court (doubtful).

People have already pulled all sorts of press clippings of shows and his whereabouts around the time; he spent late April and most of May '65 touring the UK (which was also filmed for Don't Look Back). He toured with Joan Baez across the US before that - there's a short gap of about two weeks but apparently he was with Sara Lownds on the opposite side of the US. The accusations are of abuse over a 6 week period around this time in New York.

I'm all for believing survivors, etc, but the woman in question should have done some research here, I suspect, and not clashed with one of his most famous tours on a different continent.
