How the hell have we managed to sign him?

Uncle Richard - I’d forgotten about the goings on at and post Derby - always thought he was a class CB. Though he’d slowed down we were always better with him on the pitch.

I remember being impressed that we bought Stephen mcphee for a decent fee and thought he would be class for us until he got a long term injury.

Never realised he tried to end his life and now runs a printing business In Cheadle.

On the thread, Barry Fergusson, Kevin Phillips, Tony Ellis (what a surprise that was), O'Keefe all spring to mind.
Fergusson oozed quality - he was upper PL quality (as was Phillips), just fell out with the Scottish FA, he was Scotland's captain at one time.
Matt Phillips turned into a great player as well, unknown when we signed him.

Mark Taylor.

After watching him a few times I thought he wow and he scored 43 in 121 apps which for a winger was decent.
Sadly he got a bad injury and we never saw the best of him again.

His wife was killed in the Manchester terror attack ☹️

Which player has made you think that?
Charlie Adam is an obvious one but I'd probably say I'd choose Martin Bullock, always amazed me he was playing in League 1, untouchable on his day. I'd have to say one of the trickiest Blackpool players I've ever seen.
Nah Bullocks potential never reached one good tackle he went missing for the rest of the game

Nobody ever says Tony Green or Tommy Hutchison. Why?...because they were unknowns. If only we could raid the lower Scottish leagues for such talent today.
