I don't get the OP. Leipzig had one shot on target in the first hour. 55% possession but didn't know what to do with the ball. Best MANU performance for years against the top side in Germany at the mo.

Well Bull I must admit I didn’t start watching the game until half way through the first half but from what I saw (70 minutes) it was all United.
 
Leipzig were okay from about 20th minute until HT......before that and after it It was all United.....best performance for a long time and pressed for more goals up to last seconds even though winning at a Canter

Tange, I wasn't referring to shots on target or any other stats to be honest, that first half I felt RB gave United a lesson in keeping the ball, making United give it away cheaply with their high press, and generally looking the better side. Fair play for United's defensive unit who were immense the whole game, but I'm sure RB will come away shell shocked they've been battered 5-0 in a game where they had more possession than their opponents.

It also shows the importance of holding on to your best players, last season they had Timo Werner and Marcel Sabizer up top who bagged 50 goals between them, Werner leaves and Sabizer is returning from injury, so a huge hole in their goalscoring threat is missing.

"Top side in Germany at the moment'? Same as most teams, they're not on the same planet as Bayern pal.
 
They are top of the Bundesliga currently.

I agree that after Man U. scored Leipzig were well on top until half time and at that point I thought they might go on to win but the second half was very different.
