How's this for a quote off the Hull forum

'We're playing poorly relative to the quality we have now, which is worrying because a lot of our players would walk into most of these other teams and we're probably the biggest team in the league. That doesn't give us a divine right to walk the league, but it does mean at the very least that we should be beating the likes of Blackpool, Swindon and Shrewsbury'

Biggest team in the league🤣🤣
The likes of Blackpool🤣🤣🤣

This clown doesn't know his history. Hull City. What an irrelevant football club.

I was surprised that George Honeyman didnt play tonight. Genuinely the only player who would get in every team in this division

You'd think the fact that Sunderland are in their third season at this level would serve as a constant reminder to all that those who think they're too big for league 1 rarely get out of it easily.

Sunderland, Ipswich and Portsmouth might have something to say about Hull being the biggest! And the last time we were referred to as the likes of Blackpool we won the Championship play offs. In fact when we were first promoted to the championship I thought we had changed our name to The Likes Of Blackpool FC!

I thought their number 33 Docherty was a good player.strong in the middle can spot a pass made things happen around the box

their left back also

Hope he doesn't speak for most of the fanbase otherwise we'll see another Sunderland in this division, they'll all be asking for the manager to be sacked the second they drop from top spot

Also "the likes of Blackpool"..
Hull City seem to have a case of "always the bridesmaid never the bride":

They just aren't even close to being the biggest club in the league. I spat my drink out when I read it. Their club legend is Dean Windass.

Anyway. Job done. Onto the next one. In Critch we trust.

They’ve got all uppity since they got their new ground. I remember the Fish Out/Dolan Out days infront of crowds of 4500. Rugby will always be king in that city.

They have got above their station after the new ground and a spell in the prem. Let them languish in the bottom 2 divisions for the best part of 30 years under owners they hate (which is currently the case) and let's see what their crowds are like then. Deluded pricks.

What has happened with the owners they hate? With fans not allowed in due to Covid, it's hard to tell who's boycotting their own games nowadays.
