Hull City have announced Liam Rosenior as the club’s new head coach following the departure of Shota Arveladze at the end of September.
Interesting choice, but we made a better one with MA.

Odd. I wonder why they think he should do better in the Championship than in League Two.
Presumably Hull think what happened at Derby was all down to club politics?

He’s got the potential to be a good appointment.

However he will also be learning on the job and I’m not sure how patient the ‘ull fans will be with him.

A good choice IMHO… Suspect he will do very well 👍
Strange appointment for me BFC.BFC.BFC. No real history as a manager, just a short stint at Derby County.
A bit of a gamble for Hull but a bigger one for him, such is the way that they are currently being run.

It’s a gamble we were strongly considering, if certain people are to be believed.
Tough 1st proper gig.
Patience will be in short supply.

Would you rather have a thrice failed ex manager who may not be able to find his perfect match, or go for the young relatively unknown with potential. It worked for us with Critch.

In Lge 1 and even then it wasn't until we got Calderwood in we started to improve.
Championship is a tougher league with the financial might for various reasons competing against you and to survive it ain't easy.
If they had recruited Rosenior in summer then fair enough to impose his coaching style but coming up to nearly halfway through the season someone without experience is very risky.

I wish we had gone for Rosenior. Can't understand people saying he failed at Derby, he certainly didn't do anything wrong and it was such a short period of time.
We have the perfect opportunity now to compare him to Appleton...same league and probably a similar budget. Time will tell.

I suppose it’s no different from appointing the Lampards Carricks of this world

He ll either sink or swim

Nope Hull spent quite a few quid in the summer, how much do you think Serri is on there, probs upwards of 20 plus grand a week.

How do you know?
Because I have faith in our experienced manager - it's the board who should have supported him before now, with the money raised from Josh, Richard & Critchley.
The Hull guy wasn't chosen at interview, so mustn't have impressed.
Does that answer your question MW?
Maybe you are less convinced with our manager?
