Hurghada

The aggressive, argumentative, demanding Russians (male & female) were taking over Cyprus a few years ago.
The reps at our Pathos hotel warned us to avoid them, & they were spot on - "they're ten times worse than the Germans ever were".
Due to the islands military logistical importance in the Ukraine war, hopefully they've gone elsewhere.
As for the OP question re Hurghada - sorry, I can't assist with that one!
 
Must say I have never come across any Russians.
What is it about them that irks ??

We spend 2 months a year in Sharm and a lot of the Russians (not all) treat the staff like dirt… very rude and shirty with them…they also push in front of anyone in a queue and never say thankyou… for balance I’m afraid some of the British are awful too .. just nowhere near as bad as the Russians…
 
Just hope that there are hardly any Russians at an All Inclusive Hotel.

They take all the food and leave hardly anything for anyone else, and leave humungous amounts of uneaten food.

Constantly try to push in front of you at every opportunity ( I stress ''try', as I got wise and gave them some of their own medicine)

They will 'steal' your towels if you leave them on loungers when you go for a swim. Horrible people.
 
only come across them once on honeymoon in Egypt, and yes they were awful and as others have said the worst of any Nationality. But I'd imagine if you come across any at the moment they will be on the run from conscription so may keep a low profile.
 
Was over the road in sharm at new year the Russians there seemed utter cunts or certainly about 10 per cent of em which colourd my view on all russians
