I am very positive going into next season

I just can’t wait for next season now, the way we played against Southport in both halves the first half we play some nice possession football and second half we were clinical I know it’s only Southport but it was a good exercise in over 5 months and we only need 5-6 players to complete the squad it’s looking great for the season and if we combine the two halves against Southport today then we will be the team to watch out for. UTMP!!

So much positivity after yesterday and yes it was only a friendly and yes it was only against Southport but pre-season can tell you so much about a side. Critchley has got the players fit, we have options already in most positions and we are playing up tempo football, creating chances and looking like a solid unit. Personally still have reservations about central defence and a reserve keeper but generally I'd agree with the o/p.
