I asked my 80yr old neighbour

MrsDP, who is 9 years younger then I, has sprained muscles in her back.
At the moment I'm 'head cook and bottle washer', forget the 'head cook' bit.
She is a fantastic cook and manages to get a meal together, with my help' 😉 .
Rubbing Voltarol on 4 times a day, but it's taking a long time to get better.
For anyone who says you shouldn't use Voltarol for more than 5 days, the Doc said she could.
It's a 2nd marriage for both of us, but celebrated our 50th this year.
Fortunately this Christmas, we're just having Daughter (by my 1st marriage,) and hubby for Christmas dinner.
Usually it's been about 8/10 family etc. But we decided to take it easy this year.
Because of her back it was a wise decision.

We're sticking with turkey.

Where are the other family members doing this Xmas now you are not inviting them to dinner. My Mrs was just enquiring, I hope they don’t starve. I feel sorry for them being left out in the cold.
