I have connected laptop to tv via HDMI but all I'm getting is the screensaver photo with no apps. Do I need to change something in my laptop settings?

Is the image on the laptop the same as the one on the TV?

Try opening something up on the l and it should appear on the TV.

It sounds like that's an extension of your desktop... try opening a browser window and dragging it to the left or right of your laptops screen. You should see the edge appear on your tv

You will have a FN bottom on your laptop - press that and a button on the F keys (at top) that Looks like a tv screen and you will get options appear

Thanks. Pressed windows button and P together and then pressed duplicate.

Press windows key and p to open up display settings.
Change multiple display to clone it will probably be on extended.
