I give Critch another 6 months

Right, we all know his weaknesses, we know his stubbornness, we know his shit formations and we know what’s gone wrong this season and so no need to repeat that.

Squad wise though, Joseph was a mistake, Norburn was not the game changer, he’s made mistakes with Dale and Apter, CJ has gone dog shit, none of his strikers can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo, we’ve had rubbish injuries (a fit Rhodes would have banged in another half a dozen goals at least) and I’ve got to be honest most players have gone backwards (Lyons, Connolly, Lavery, Beesley, CJ etc), we lost Dougall and f**k knows what those permanent signings in January were about (but at least we had the loans inc Dembele - thank God!).

My point is that Critchley now has the opportunity to change that and maybe with it his fixation with this wretched formation (without Dembele might it change?). Make no mistake, even though it’s his shit ideas he’s sent the team out playing, his players have let him down too many times.

I’m writing this now because the season is over - don’t get up any hopes that it’s not - big changes are needed and I would start immediately by ditching the muppets he calls his assistants. Hopefully Downs has a raft of new players in mind and we can hit the season running next season in both a winning and entertaining way. If not, he’ll be toast by December whatever we think - SS is not a mug.

You talk sense.. bar... Why is Joseph a mistake? He never gets a run due to the idiot that is critchley

I honestly think Joseph is a player... yes might not score loads but will set up his partner... currently idiot doesn't give him a chance .. well bit of 2nd half here and there

I think him and lavery would be deadly duo.. if given time

Clearly, nobody above him has told him to change his dull, drab football, otherwise he would have already been gone for not complying. To me that means he’ll be here next season no matter what, and of course Simon has already said so. That being the case, I won’t be renewing, unless miraculously we reach the playoffs and get promoted, or we have some sort of indication from the club that things will be different next season. Summer transfers will tell us something.

Because we should have been going like for like with Yates. Proven goal scorer. Joseph was never that and of course we got a player who was injured and so we were reliant on Lavery to score the goals 🙄

So the O/P comes out with all of that and then would give him another 6 months ? Jesus Christ !
Only because he’s not getting sacked, give me the choice and he’d be gone however if we’re stuck with him I’ve given my thoughts on where we are, what has gone wrong and what we need to change things.

Hold on Yates played 40 games for Swansea (and fans want rid off) whilst Joseph 20... and how many sub? Sorry rubbish what u say.

Joseph wasn’t a mistake - just a disappointment

Anyone who renews under Critchley needs six months' therapy.

Dire tactics and football, the bad effect on most players, failed potential for playoffs.

Fans must threaten mass boycotts that compel Sadler to find a better coach.

Just hold on a minute, 7YearCritch, you do realise, I'm assuming, that some of these changes being proposed, would mean, horror of horrors, that the manager would possibly have to give some thought to dropping the individual who has taken on the mantle of being his 'ever-dependable' talisman, aka C...omplete J...oke Hamilton?

Sorry, folks, but it just ain't happenin'...

Agree, all strikers need the manager to stick with them through a goal drought, Jerry was a case in point. I remember when he was constantly getting dropped, his best runs were when he got constant games. Joseph and Lavs, of the current crop, need a run of games, with the manager having the balls to ignore supporters calling for dropping after a few bad minutes. They are both good strikers, but often used to chase a game already over.
I think the managers background in youth prevents him from understanding that adults need the managers confidence, and he doesn’t have Pep’s choice of quality to keep rotating. He wrecks confidence by doing this rather than building it.

I think the summer transfer window could define us for a few seasons. I can imagine many will be leaving signing up up a season ticket until the last week even if it means missing out on Early Bird.
