Not had pickled onions for years but decided to make up a ploughman’s a couple of weeks back, once I put the crusty bread, cheese, salad & pork pie in my basket I realised I was missing the pickles so I bought the most expensive ones I could find to treat myself, garners pickled shallots, around £3.50, absolutely lovely and well worth the money, they are a bit hard to come by in a lot of supermarkets as most have garners pickled onions which are ok but not on the same level2-20 in Morrisons
