…….at CJ’s (reasonable) impersonation of a plank as our RWB. No doubt instructed to stay wide, I doubt if he touched te balll half a dozen times before being hooked off. With Lyons out of the reckoning for a while , Gabriel would seem to have a free run in that position. Coulson, yesterday, was much improved, and he showed energy on the left. I see nowhere for CJ, other than as an impact sub. Pool made very hard work of that win yesterday. The Shrews were poor, but were only one down going into the last seven minutes. The nerves were jangling ! This was one of the first of these type of games that I think Pool have actually won. It’s a good time of the season to start 😳.

I’ve stuck up for CJ all season as I believed for most of the first part of the season he received a lot of unwarranted criticism. But pretty much since his contract he’s been awful. The amount of times yesterday the ball was on the other side of the pitch and he had acres to get the after burners going and create an easy switch but just stood far too deep was just strange. It could be down to instruction, but if that’s the case why play him there over Gabriel? Because Gabriel is more than twice the footballer.

The tweak of the formation with Dembele coming in (3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2) has also not worked for CJ.
Hes struggling completely for form.

Everyone knows my thoughts on CJ. He’s proven time and time again to me he is not remotely good enough.

It’s even more shocking that Apter is taking the piss at League Two level and isn’t playing for us.
