If all this had happened in 2010

If Covid 19 had happened in 2010 at the time it did, Blackpool were still outside the play off places and had yet to get the heavy defeat at Newcastle (which i see as our turning point in the final push), do you think it would have affected our performance and probably stop us going up.
All hypothetical i know but some strange results coming out of Project re-start

I thought the defeat at Sheff United in March was the turning point that season personally? Newcastle was about 3rd or 4th last game

Interesting to think about actually, if hypothetically the league ended in 2010 as it did now, with 9 games left of the Championship, those are the exact 9 games where we went on our decent run to sneak in with 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss

With this massive break I suspect any momentum that teams had before has gone, it's almost like the start of the season again in a way, everyone starts with a blank slate in terms of form. We could have easily never made it to the play-offs if it had happened to us!

I think we are quite lucky as well that we had nothing to play for this season with everything that's happened, now we can just enjoy Preston failing to make the play-offs themselves!

I believe the fans played a part in our success in 2010, playing the remaining games at the end of that season behind closed doors (although all clubs would have suffered) I am sure would have made a difference to our teams performance.

I was thinking the same about the Prem season and if we’d have had a better chance of survival without say the Old Trafford crowd on the last day - certainly might not have felt intimidated those last few games?
