That seemed to do the trick, I can't recall hearing them sing it again, so presumably they agreed.
 
I heard a handful of Preston fans singing it last month but I think they stopped when they remembered where they lived
 
A load of people say it is. Loads more say isn’t. Blackpool Tower, three piers, golden mile, pleasure beach.
Most of all Bloomfield Rd.

Stoke fans were singing that chant.

I went towards the tower on the way home for that game and they were taking pictures of themselves in front of it.
 
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. It shows they have a complete lack of imagination. I also like the irony of fans from places like Stoke singing it. Oh and it's weird because Blackpool is one of the most visited places in Europe. Go figure.

Went to Stoke once and never been anywhere like it the people are very strange most of them looked like they had walked out of the star wars bar .I guess there has been lots of historic interbreeding
 
We sometimes sing it on our travels just football banter but singing we Know where your from is a brilliant response.
 
They sing it in response to our singing, "Don't wanna go home, Don't wanna go ho -o- ome. This is the best trip I've ever been on". It doesn't bother me at all. It's what rival fans do.

What I do worry about is our youngsters singing, "Your support is ** shit", at school sports events, thinking that's a normal thing to do. 😲🤣
 
Blackpool regularly features in England's top 10 of worst places to live....if that's the case there must be a lot of feckin English Monte Carlo's and Cote D'Azur's out there that I don't know about! 🙄 And if it was a straight choice between here or London I'd pick here everytime! What's the thrill in paying umpteen times more for similar property because it's in amongst great theatre's, museums, clubs etc...if you're choking on feckin fumes! 🤔I don't get it...maybe cos I'm not a Londoner or Southerner! 🤷‍♂️
