If or when Bowler goes ...

Having been last night it was clear to all that without him we lack creativity and pace to unlock teams, and that was a league 2 defence last night.

I know it's gone quiet at the moment on the Bowler front, but if he leaves us late in the window, we will be stuffed without an adequate replacement.

The lack of creativity and pace up front is a real concern and needs addressing ASAP. I'm not going to jump on Appleton's back yet as he needs time, but without the players and with Bowler potentially leaving and even Lavery going, I think he will soon start to feel the pressure from the stands.

Not sure Bowler has pace, quickness of feet, yes.

The problem is that to get the best price for him it may go to the wire giving us no time to bring players in, well maybe a Dale type loan, god forbid.

If JB went before Saturday, I think it would tip people over the edge after last night.

I am massively fearing for this season.

The last player we had who had clever feet was GTF, he of course, had a clever footballing brain that was in tune with his feet and beyond. Players that have that ability are rare.
